Normally i would clip my knife or mt inside the cargo leg pocket but i find the Surge is just too heavy for that as its loose material there and just bounces around so it gets clipped inside front hip pocket and it's much better, you don't even feel it   :tu:

Day 2:

Used the file to smooth out some dried glue on a plastic pivot.

Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

I sheath carry and I am holding up pretty good so far

I'm pocket carrying mine in an old nylon sheath.  I did it with the CD so am used to it.

Day 3

Another package got delivered this morning  :mail:
I used the serrated blade to open the box
And the plain blade to try and get the knife out of the plastic
What a horrible packaging  :ahhh

Day Three

Came across some SOG packaging myself today, no problem for the super sharp PE blade  :tu:

Weight is not and issue, it is the size (width) and how it rides in the sheath.  For me it is difficult to grab and draw with my large fingers.

Day 4  Used it to pry up a empty bottle of nose spray. Refilled it with rapeseed oil.

What sheath are you using ?
The nylon sheath
I am accustom to grasping the tool by the slabs, but this sheath requires me to grab by the edges.  I have no issues with the Wave in a like sheath or my ST3 in the box sheath.  Just the Surge. Thank you for the follow up!

Excellent uses Ws and Jpb :like:

Is it a Wave sheath or is it the bigger sheath meant to carry a tool that size  either way it may just need stretched out  the SURGE will take care of that I am sure though :D
