Day 6 of 30

Used the SURGE to cut open a couple bags of dirt to use with some flowers we planted today :tu: No pic of that because I forgot my phone in the house  but I did manage to snap one this morning with the intention of putting it on here early ::)

I tried the camera on my grandfather's Kyocera DuraXE. I love that phone. Wish I'd gotten one instead of my smart; and now slow as a tortise NEC Terrain.

Some oranges were bought at the grocery store. The massive serrated blade (I think the Surge has the longest knives of any MT in my arsenal) had no problem ripping through the net bag.

Except I did have an issue peeling it. The BO coating started to come off, and was showing on the peel. So I switched to my traditional folder, a Sheffield-made Taylor's Eye Witness I chose to accompany the Surge today.  Unlike the Egginton brands, I feel Eye Witness doesn't half-arse anything they do.  This knife is equal to the 1960s era Lambsfoot I also have in fit and finish. Might try an A. Wright Lambsfoot next.

I did goof with this photo.

Thanks for the GAW, very generous!

Had really think about the favorite and least tools.
01  Wspeed  - Favourite feature: flat bit holder, Least favourite: serrated blade as one blade is enough for me
02  SteveC - FF:   saw/file exchanger,  LF:  Can Opener, don't need no stinking can opener
03 Poncho65 - Favorite is the exchanger least favorite is the weight (a Wave or Charge is basically this and I prefer the lighter weight of one of those)
04 ReamerPunch - Favorite: Pliers. Least Favorite: Fixed flatheads. I have the bit holder and bit kit, why waste two spots with fixed drivers?
05 Kev D - Favourite - pliers with replaceable cutters, bit exchanger, saw/file exchanger, good PE blade - Least Favourite - Serrated blade, fixed flat drivers
06 Antti Lammi - Favourite - Scissors - Least favourite - can opener cause all my multis have it and i would replace it with Spirits multiblade or similar
07 Jaypeebee - Favourite - both blades. Least favourite - pliers, not keen on these new type pliers, they have the same tightening issue when squeezed hard like my Rebar and Wave!
08 Borg - Favourite - serrated blade. Least favourite - Scissors, for no other reason than i will never use them... subject to change of course
09 LoopCutter - Favorite and most used - Serrated Bladed, Least favorite feature - the overall bulk of the tool, but learning to carry and utilize

Day 7

Replaced a broken wooden bracket on a table with a steel one, and it was so much better I replaced the other one too.

And these.

Day 6:

Fixed a line switch for a customer. Odd it had a T8 torx screw instead of the normal phillips. Glad the Surge has the bit kit. :woohoo:
