Gardeners are tough

I had been given this knife in the early 80's from a friend. It was already used and the blade tip was broken off.
Over the past 35 years it served me as a beater in my tool boxes, garden shed etc. and it did all I asked it to do.
Finally (after over 35years) I thought it might be a good idea and fun to restore the blade.
Ground off to a more pronounced sheepfoot shape to recover the blades tip and given a new edge... what took me so long?

Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Btw, I take it you like old weird German craftsmanship? I've found something that I did not have any use for since decades. Shoot me a PM if interested (no cost involved)  :salute:
