Gardeners are tough
on: April 08, 2019, 09:28:42 AM
I had been given this knife in the early 80's from a friend. It was already used and the blade tip was broken off.
Over the past 35 years it served me as a beater in my tool boxes, garden shed etc. and it did all I asked it to do.
Finally (after over 35years) I thought it might be a good idea and fun to restore the blade.
Ground off to a more pronounced sheepfoot shape to recover the blades tip and given a new edge... what took me so long?

Thank you Sir  :hatsoff:
It is a handy blade shape that.

Btw, I take it you like old weird German craftsmanship? I've found something that I did not have any use for since decades. Shoot me a PM if interested (no cost involved)  :salute:

The best beater tools aren't found, they're made from shiny new looking things  ;) :D
