The usual here again, but also got to cut up some fruit since the wifey went nuts at the grocery store. Cut up a mango and an orange and along with that made the pleasant discovery that this knife has a carbon steel blade! I don’t know why I thought it was some kind of stainless. Look at that nice patina forming!

Day: 19

Used the back of the tip to 'key' open a few stubborn pistachios while snacking and reading MTo.

Day 19 - Noname lockback road in front left pocket today.
Cut open a package of nozzles and flatten some oversized cardboard boxes. It is hiding an edge yet. (Image removed from quote.)

Thanks for asking Nix

It was always a keeper, just wasn't sure if it was destined to be an EDC.
The quality is unquestionable in both material and fit and finish, it opens smoothly and snaps closed like a mouse trap, where different materials meet I can drag a fingernail across and not feel it.
Both blades have retained their edge after 19 days.
At this point in the challenge I no longer baby it, and we've become strong friends.
It really would be a lifetime companion, if only I was younger

And Ray I know you've been interested too
Oh most definitely! Thanks for the info on it.

SAK guy, we're just pleased that Fuzzy can read and, for the most part, communicate in English at this point. Fuzzy will be thrilled that you sent him a message--it means you believe he can read, too!  :tu:

Day 19. Cutting some brush with my Rebar, I accidentally poked a hole in the AC unit. Spent the past hour with a buddy of mine, figuring out how we're gonna fix the mess I made. Luckily, he's a trained HVAC technician and has all the proper gear.   He's a retired heavy equipment operator, and actually took the class as a hobby. We figure that if we can't figure it out, there's always YouTube.   And that's why I'm eating dinner a half-hour later than when I'm crawling into my bed.

I'm gonna have to eat a good chunk of the $350 the R-22 will cost. Luckily, the old Kenmore unit is 15-16 years old and was already needing recharged and work done.

Cody, you're a young man. I've got T shirts older than you.  This is your time to make mistakes so you don't make them again when you're older. Don't beat yourself up over it.
