Does anyone have any disassembled photos of a 91mm with a long nail file.  I’m trying to figure out where to put the extra liner holes.

Hunstman, I’ve never came across a 58mm model with keyring attachment on the liner... As far as I know, its always integrated with the backspring... Do you have a sample?

Here’s a Locksmith broken down for parts...

Been planning to add a wood saw to a rescue tool... interesting to note that the blade, wood saw and metal file backsprings are interchangeable since they’re exactly the same shape (except for those that accomodate backtools).

In fact, I used the backspring that sits below the woodsaw, blade and opener layers to make a Centurion/Adventurer for kitchen duty stuff...

I got a picture of one on Facebook and I think my parts supplier found the original liners.  When o get back to that project I’ll post a photo to have in the collection

Wenger PTC...

Pin diameter is 1.96mm ≈ 2mm... One end of the pins is solid (typical of Wenger)... While the other end has a bushing (similar to Victorinox)...

Rescue Tool + wood saw...(Image removed from quote.)

Aha - So the removable tools have a protective ring around the pins/rivets - Fascinating - Thanks JM

Anyone know if the cap lifter / screw driver on a 91mm such as the compact the same as on an 84mm such as a waiter?

If not, which one is being added to 93mm mods?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply Cleanser. The Combo tool on 84mm and 91mm is a different size. Not sure what 93mm modders are using. Probably the 91mm as the 84mm will drop down too low when closed.

I’ve used the same design to make the LED module removable...

Thanks for pointing out the feature on the Rescue Tool. It was the last piece of the puzzle I needed for this mod. If I was equipped for metal fabrication, I’d build a long flat driver that could clip on the pivot and drop below the Phillips, a bit like the 111mm design.

No worries Max... The Rescue Tool isn’t the only one with that feature... The removable USB flash drives in 58mm models use the same too... Unfortunately I don’t have a pic as I never owned one let alone dismantle one... a friend told me this while doing his 58mm mod...

The climber small isn’t mine... it belongs to a friend... The scissors layer was used for the Ti Compact Tinker Small mod I did recently...

The Cadet II X was a mod I did a while back... I intend to dismantle it again and add an inline phillips to it... that is if I can find an appropriate donor...
