how to get wave pivot out?

how do i get it out? ive unscrewed it but but pivot is stuck.

do i have to get flat edge lined up?

I'm not entirely sure but with gerber multipliers I make sure to slide the lock forward to take any tension off and if needed gently tap the pivot thru or gently pull & twist from the other side if you can without damaging the pivot head.

When u say stuck, does the post screw spin on the spot or it doesn't turn at all?

no it doesnt spin but i forced it  with screwdriver and it eventually came out

so now worried i might of broke the tab bits that rest on the flat side of the pivot which stops it rotating when in use. .

I guess what happened there was that the pivot was turned while loosening the screws and it got jammed out of the notch that is supposed to prevent that.
It can happen easily, I never remember which side to turn and which not.
It shouldn't cause you any problems. Make sure to use Loctite though when re-assembling.
