Well, 1 of my packages arrived today, so we did get to open something this afternoon.

Perhaps more package pics, tomorrow?

Day 3 bonus pic!
The Explorer Tanto cut through this steak so quick and clean it was like there was nothing there at all.

Day 03

A long day of driving, but some excellent views. Here’s the view from the lodge we’re staying in:

No uses for a knife today, but no issues at the border. So far—some heavy traffic around Calgary not withstanding—Canada has been very good to us.

Knife in the hotel:

Funny you should mention that my friend!  This is a truly beautiful knife.  I can find myself spending a great deal of time with it.

Day 3
Another shot of my Explorer Tanto. It's a great little knife. Very handy. The sheath's not too good though. It's from an era when sheaths were made to wear straight up so the knife pokes me in the ribs when it's on my belt. I'd prefer to give it a little cant or wear it lower but it has a fixed belt / boot clip.

Any chance to add a belt loop dangler to it?

Day 4

I love this challenge, it gives me a chance to pull out different fixie and it's like a walk in memory lane.  Kauhavan Puukkopaja Puukko from Finland, I got this when I was visiting one of the older knife shop called Kindal in France.

Not only is that a nice knife, but the sheaths almost rival the knives in looks!  :tu:
