Ten Brand Club - Diversified MultiFolio
on: June 01, 2019, 04:37:15 AM
With encouragement from our friend CeHo, this is a new club for us collectors who really can't make our minds up as to what brands we prefer to collect/own.  :)

The only requirement for posting club-photos, is to have the photos(or sets of) with ten or more different brands(not models, versions, or variations of the same brand) of multi-tools/multi-knives/knives. And we'd love to read feedback(and join in the conversation) from anyone who finds diversified multifolios interesting and/or who is interested in broadening their multi-tool collection/stable horizons. :tu:

I'll be posting my first entry soon. :woohoo:

Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

:like: I admire your universal love of MT brands, personally, I would only have a hard time to decide my favorite amongst the few brands that I really like, Vics/Wenger, LM, Gerber and SOG.  But post like this broaden our horizon.  :tu:

No pics at the moment, but if we're including knife based tools, I have users from Leatherman, Victorinox, SOG, Gerber, CRKT, Buck, Case, Richards, Wenger, Swiss+Tech, IDL, Camillus, Rodgers, Schrade/Vise Grip, and True Utility. Possibly one or two others. If we're only counting ones with pliers, I only have seven brands left after the cull.

Victorinox
Gerber
HB Smith
SOG
Leatherman
Wenger
Schrade
Tacklife
Royal Cross (or something like that; SAK knockoff SMKW used to sell)

I'll try to get some picks up when I can  :tu: In the meantime, there is a "Cull Update" thread somewhere, which shows most of what's left.

I do still have one of the X-Tract Fins left, and will probably keep it. It's a very comfortable knife to use, and the drivers and scissors work well too.  :)
