I have a 30 year old 110 I got from my Grandfather when I was 12 and love that knife more than anything. Used it on my belt for many years, for hunting and general cutting/knife work. That said, the 112 is probably more practical to carry every day for most people. Both iconic knives, IMO.

The 110 is a great knife and a fine choice for rural and hunting purposes.

The Ranger (112) is for me a great EDC in my daily suburban and urban needs with its 3” blade.  Especially the SLIM models for pocket clip carry.

My mom is 2 hrs away from me and I enjoy helping her when possible, even with my brothers living in same town.

She 87, sad though that an hour after I leave she forgets I was there most times.
