Help IDing a knife from description
on: June 17, 2019, 09:15:32 PM
Um. Hi. So I was at a knife show and heroically resisted the urge to buy anything (I don’t believe there is such a thing as “disposable income”). However, one folder I saw there started to grow on me and I kind of want to find out more about it.

Obviously, it’s a Gerber. Liner lock, assisted opening, double sided. For some reason, it felt very heavy. The scales were some imitation wood, covered in ugly screws. Ugh. Still.

I couldn’t find it online, so it must be a discontinued model. Thoughts?

The biggest issue with Gerber folding knives is the insane amount of produced models and licensed products. I suspect one could look at Gerbers on eBay for a lifetime and never see every model they had their name on. I've got a gift tin from the 90s with TWO knives I have never seen before or since I got them. :ahhh

If I see an assisted opening folding knife with wood handles, I'll let you know. :tu:
Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

Oh man... first time I’m having non-buyer’s remorse

It was so heavy I think it’s made of adamantium or something.
