Victorinox executive 74mm modification

So I am trying to modify a Victorinox executive to fit the rally/rambler/manager Phillips cap lifter tool.

I’ve read once that Neil did it by simply drilling out the existing 1.5mm hole of the cap lifter to 2.0mm.

Any know if is this all there is too it? What do I need for this project other than the drill bit, the executive and a rambler or rally?

Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks so much !

I'd LOVE to see a factory mod of the executive with this tool, or a small combo tool, or even a small awl. As much as I love the executive, and it's taken over as my EDC pocket knife, the orange peeler is the one off note in the package. I don't eat that many oranges to make a tool for it needed in my everyday life. But a small combo tool with a dedicated Phillips driver/bottle opener would be a great change for the better.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m going to attempt this weekend. I’ll post pics when completed. Cost of this project is soaring haha. Wondering if it’s worth it!

I think all Neil did was drill it out :cheers: but that has been many many moons ago and I have slept since then........ So I could be totally wrong :D
