20th Anniversary Wave In a 52 Tool Lot !!!!!
on: December 18, 2008, 12:26:57 AM
I have not bought anything from this Ebay seller but I have come mighty close on a number of occasions. I am stumped as to why he put a 20th anniversary Wave in a 52 tool bulk lot  :o :ahhh. I contacted him & he said it is his last bulk auction & will be cutting back on his selling after this , clearing the decks maybe

Did they make a 20th anniversary tool?  I though the nice ones that are selling now are 25th anniversary.  I not a collector so i have not really kept up on this stuff.  Are there markings on it that indicate it is a 20th anniversary? ???

Yes they made a 20th Anniversary Wave. The handles were black and it was labeled as such!

Here's a link to amazon (obviously they are out of stock, but its a good picture)!

Thank the lord for Google ;)

Actually I have one of these, but it's been used quite hard in its life. Much of the black finish has worn off, but it's the only one I've come across, so I'm glad I have it!

You can just about see it in this pic I took a few months ago, bottom left corner, just behind the Orange Juice S2 (looking like its about to fall over):

I used to come here a lot.

Thanks! That pictures quite a bit out of date now actually, I need to do a new one sometime!

I EDC the Charge TTi and a Stainless Steel finished Micra. Occasionally I'll carry a Juice, but that really just depends what mood I'm in!

The Charge TTi, is the perfect MT for me, it's very rare for me to find something it can't do. It's lighter than a Wave but has the same features, plus of course the gut-hook, which is a superb box opener! Because this is the UK, that S30V blade tends to scare people to death, so I carry the Micra for use in the office and whilst in "sensitive" company ;)

I carry the stainless Micra, as all of the coloured ones I've seen seem to scratch up really easily, whereas the SS stays looking lovely :)

Around the house and garden I tend to use a Core for most things as its a beefy, no nonsense tool and has the best drivers I've found on one Multi. I find that too heavy for EDC though, and the Charge is the best "lighter" tool I've come across.

Lately I've been carrying a GAK too, as it's perfect for food in the office, like cutting cake, improvising a sandwich etc.
I used to come here a lot.
