I have a couple.  My biggest gripe is that it still is using the crinked blade.

Other than that, it's great.

Some of the Solos have the same blade as a pioneer.  It's ground sort of at an angle to make room for the reamer in the same layer.

The Pioneer, or rhe Bantam? The Pioneer has a BEAST of a blade, very thick. If that's the blade the Solo uses...I might have to get a Solo, or, according to the US Vic 'site, a Swiss Army 1 ( the Harvester is the Swiss Army 7 there, too).

The Solo uses a Pioneer blade.

It’s forest or British race car green I’d say. It says SOCOCUT on the back scale. They are a registered Victorinox seller out of Massachusetts.

It's all good. I'll still use saks and already own a single layer alox. Will just have to look out for an older version solo.
