Swiss Bianco "Soldiers"

I have a number of Swiss Bianco SAKs labelled as Soldiers.  I recently read a post/article (cannot recall where) saying that they are really Pioneers. 

Which is the more accurate label?

I would say they are Pioneers with no keyring attachements... real Soldiers would have the Swiss Crest instead of the Vic Cross...

I tend to agree with Jaya here...
