Ahh Im thinking pins too but Im so afraid of splitting the horn, Anyone got any tips for pinning wood and horn without it splitting? Bolts from the back would look similar to this

Anyway, here is my latest custom knife. Another Spydernox Rambler this time with ti scales and liners and a wave design on the back. Custom ordered to match a sebenza and other ti/blue gear.

God that titanium was hard, broke at least 1 drill bit for each hole on the back side and broke a tap on the last hole  :bnghd:. Happy with the result at least tho =')

Thank you all! :) Yeah it was custom ordered to match a carbon wallet actually but the customer backed out. Not a problem because I like it so much anyway :D. Its on ebay right now if anyone wants it to match with some gear :P

Well, don't know if it helps, but try drilling some holes first. Put some strong tape over the scales when drilling. That works when drilling holes in a wall, maybe it helps here, too. Keep the tape on while pinning. It protects from any hit and awlso might prevent the splitting.
