When Those Shorts Are On Point.

That time when your new cargo shorts work perfectly with your Victorinox belt hanger. Just the right distance from your belt loop to your slash pocket, so your SwissChamp hangs effortlessly and securely, and your fob has perfect clearance as well.

Just stopping by to post, while I have WiFi for five minutes. Not much signal here while camping in the mountains. Should be back to normal civilization in about a week.

That is a wonderful feeling, congrats.

I wear cargo shorts all year round.  It seems every time I discover a pair I love, they discontinue them.  I tried to order a second pair of my current favorite and it was an updated version that didn’t work nearly as well.

Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Combo Edged knife or Multitool and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK-alike, aka multi-layered, knife-based pocket tools for thirty (30) consecutive days. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge by carrying  a GEC knife and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Bladeless Multitool for 30 days

Which is why I buy 2 or 3 of the models I really like! A lesson I learned from my dad!  :cheers:

A lesson well learned!  I have that kind of luck with everything clothing wise.  At least with boots, Uncle Sam taught me to always keep a back up pair  :D

I usually try to back-up things I like, especially shoes.

But it seems lately with shorts, by the time I realize I like how the shorts fit and wear (usually 2-4 weeks), I can’t find them anymore.  Or like I said, I’ll try to order online what I think are the same ones and an updated version that I now don’t like arrives.

Cargo pants are the only pants I wear now. Both in shorts or the regular long pants. Those two cargo pockets are life savers! They hold so much.

I'm not a "shorts" kind of guy, but find me a good cargo vest and I'm all in.  But they seem to discontinue them as well.
If something works, just leave it alone.
