Just through the door.  Case Peanut in Olive Drab "Rough Synthetic".  2015 if I'm reading the tang stamp right.

Very nice!   Isn’t the date printed on the end of the box along with the model and material information.   If a January, February or March date, then the tang date indicators could reveal the previous year for blade birth.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

It's just possible that that's true and that I'd never noticed before.

July 2015.  :D

Nice little Peanut, Gareth! :like: They made a Muskrat with those covers, which seems to have jumped a few notches higher on my want list. :ahhh

Is that a factory thing or a home modification?  Looks very well done.  :tu:

It is a CASE Factory release.

IIRC, the Buffalo Horn scales and S35vn combo was released in several patterns beside the Stockman.

Does the Yellow Trapper have a pocket clip?

Been looking at new Delrin Trappers but they all seem to have the pocket clip.

I need S35vn Case in my life.

I have this model Buck, actually 2! S35VN steel.

But this is a fantastic price for this model.

It's the one called Trapperlock....

All but one (12031L) of my Case pocket knives. You been able to discern from this pic what pattern I like  :D

The red and yellow Soddies in the top middle are CV, and the Soddie in the bottom middle is S35VN.

Sorry but I'm not sure.  Only thing I have to say is it's not a soddie without the birdseye pivot.

Nice Soddie collection.  The Sodbuster is one of my favorite Case patterns.

Here's one that doesn't. For the sake of your bank account and marriage, you may want to hold off on clicking the "see all Trappers" link. :D
