Alternatives to Man on the Moon LE
on: September 13, 2019, 12:18:37 PM
Some dealers seem to offer alternatives to the official Vic MotM LE. I wonder if members of this forum own any of those and how they look. I will start with this super Tinker I found in a German shop.

Never seen that one. Does the backside look the same way?

I know that Swiss Knife Shop made a special unique-to-them Victorinox LE, and the manufacturer Swiza made their own too.  There was a long-running thread on this forum regarding the MOTM Victorinox where these were both discussed.  I'll see if I can find it and attach a link.

This is the backside. I appreciate that the dealer did not print his shop logo on the knife but rather the stars and stripes. The real kicker is the texture of the scales though - if the moon surface consisted of Cellidor, this is what it would feel like...

Thanks, Myron. Indeed, it is this thread that made me realize there are other moon landing SAKs out there. I would love to know them all...
