Well, my name is Giovanni, hailing from the mists of northern Italy. I'm an OHS & E SpeSmurfpillst by trade but in my real life I'm a happily married father of two, an aircooled VW enthusiast and a SAK collector. My mom has been carrying an economy tourist since before my birth (rare model with solid orange-ish scales from the late '70s) and I've seen her solve more sitiations than one can remember with that little 84mm -I recently refurbished it for her as it had lost all the snap and offered her a brand new one in exchange, but you know how it is with SAKs... She just wants "hers". As of myself, I received my first SAK from my dad in the early 90s as I turned 10, an economy Spartan with the "Grove" Valve Company logo om the scales and sure enough, it served me up to 2008 when It was put on retirement. I've carried an ADLER "huntsman" for some years, then a GAK 2007 but currently my carry SAK, when law allows, is a Dual Pro. Hope to join all the interesting discussions here I've been lurking about for the past decade.

Welcome from me too! Mind sharing which part of northern Italy you're from? Part of my life's history took place there (about a good stone's throw from one of the big lakes, the biggest one by name in fact  :D).
