What year was the SD introduced on the Victorinox Classic

Trying to find out what year they introduced the SD file for the Victorinox Classic   Trying to help a kid do a school project on Victorinox..

According to the Swiss Army Knife Owner's Manual by Michael M. Young, page 137,  the Classic SD was introduced in 1987.
Merit Badges Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a MiniChamp SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge thread and post a photo of a Victorinox 91mm XAVT/XL/XLT, 111mm Workchamp XL, Wenger/Delemont S54/Tool Chest Plus or Wenger Giant for thirty (30) consecutive days Start a new thread and post a photo of the 111mm sak for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with photos of at least 8 different 111mm models in your collection Start a new thread with photos of at least 5 different 111mm models in your collection Start a new thread and post a photo of an Executive or Director for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a Camper SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a flashlight as part of your EDC Must start a thread with a photo of your camo SAK Start a new thread with photos of your Buck knives in use Start a new thread and post a photo of the 110 knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Must start a thread with a photo of your stayglow SAK
