Well SirVic, I broke my sunshines  In my ignorance as a SAK mechanic I didn't warm up the scales and they broke where it snaps down (I did however manage to peen the pin a little more not perfect but it will do). Lucky though, I had a pair of plus scales in classic red. I do have a set of sunshines en route from the Ukraine (we all know that person on the eBay ) and will be getting a tinker from SMKW per SOS's post because I REALLY like the smokey scales! Also, gonna stop at Menards and grab another Fieldmaster tomorrow as it is my favorite.

Might be in...

Are all the vintage versions okay?
136
136U
136aU

84mm?
136ka

Still might be in if the answer is ‘no’ to some or any of the above. But the Hoffritz versions aren’t technically Fieldmasters either.

Thought tool set was the guide line, not the name. :dunno:
Like the BSA is called the Huntsman, but not allowed in the Huntsman challenge because of the tool set, which is that of a Fieldmaster.

That's fine.  I'd love to see some vintage knives in this challenge.

Thanks Barry. I have to clean some up. I don't have any that are in the user rotation and should be a good challenge!

Thanks Ray. I just thought the host of the Challenge has some say on what's allowed or intended.

Gonna have to cut up some cucumbers, kiwi. Make up a little mud and get the good towels out for the Fieldmaster spa day!
Maybe use a fish tank aerator to bubble up the soapy water mix eh?
