Yes indeed!  MANY did!

Sneak peek of how I might showcase the newest additions.  I just ordered another one, with more subdued colors, green/gold.  I guess the bright colors appealed to me.

I hasten to add that I’m still gutted that he’s gone, but  happy that at least this part of his memory will live on.

MIND BLOWN.  What a beautiful way to showcase what I'm sure are many spectacular SAKs.  That one is amazing.

This is good news.  I recently had to clear (forgive me I can’t think of a better word right now) a friends possessions after he passed away. I decided to gift as much as I could then the rest was organised into sell, give to charity and then what was to be thrown away. And as he was collector of many things as I am it did make me question what’s the point of collecting when at the end of the day I am just making work for some one.

But the happiness it bought to the people I gave to and even the stuff I sold through eBay generated a lot of messages of thanks and how pleased the buyers were with their purchase brought me consolation.

I am sure What you have done is also a great source  of consolation to the family to know his treasured possessions will be appreciated just as much as they were by Coloswiss himself.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

I can only agree with everyone else here Lisa. But this is a huge responsibility. You are  exactly the right person to carry on ColoSwiss's labour in building an impeccable collection. Congratulations!

Congrats on the retirement, FB! :woohoo:

And excellent news Coloswiss' collection wasn't just pieced out. He would definitely be proud to have the collection with your already wonderful collection.  :)

Karl's passing was a huge loss, not just in terms of his collection and knowledge, but him as an individual too.  I was knocked for six when I heard the news. I am absolutely delighted though that all his time and effort in putting that collection together has not gone to ruin, and not only is his collection still in one piece, but will continue to be so.

Lisa, I can't think of a better person I'd want to see safeguarding this, and continuing his work. I can only imagine the mixed emotions in receiving his epic collection. Congratulations, and thank you for keeping that part of his legacy alive.  :hatsoff:

I never met Karl or even had the opportunity to talk to him but it was abundantly clear that he was an extraordinary collector.I so  much enjoyed not only the pictures of his SAK's but his comments about them as well.

Congratulations FB on becoming the guardian of Karl's collection and on your retirement as well.
