Copper AAA flashlights
on: October 10, 2019, 05:35:00 AM
I am always on a quest for AAA flashlights. I find them to be one of the handiest models. Light, small and always there (keychain, pocket, car) when you need it and with modern technology, they perform great! Some of us who are "seasoned" can tell you about 2 D cell flashlights of the past that are blown out of the water by AAA lights of today.

I just ordered a couple of Olight models but some of the offerings in copper are really eye catching. I was hoping some of you might share pics of your copper lights. I'd like to see the patina they develop and get your feedback about what you think of the light you have.

The ones that have caught my eye are:

Martac Q12
FourSevens P1
Olight I3E

Any suggestions?

Your light is magic. I can't think of a way for Copper to NOT develop a patina...
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

So far the eggs have basically stripped the patina I had going, it's splotchy looking now, some patina and some shine, I put it back in for another round

This is a magic light, the parts touching the egg went back to shiny copper, I thought it would get bluish but it definitely is cooler looking, Im rotating it in the bag and sometimes wipe it off and also move it away from egg so hopefully end result will look good.

While it’s not green, it has still caught a nice patina. Exposed the threads so that you can see how much. One of my favorite lights.
