Picked this up at the local flea market for a buck yesterday. Thought it was an abalone knife due to the lack of a sharp edge and the plastic sheath that had a drain hole in the bottom. Tried to find out the maker (Flexim) on a search but to no avail.Posted pictures on AAPK and someone came up with a link to the company.Apparently made in England for use in repairing sealing on ceramic roofing.Even had a link to a video showing the technique.
Anyone ever seen anything like this before? Roofs of that type are not seen in the Midwest but I guess they are popular in the warmer regions.Probably how this came to be in the USA but why in Michigan? Guess I'll never know.
