Very interesting detail on the saw too. Is there a name for such a saw in english? We usually call it by the German name for it here, Fuchsschwanz (fox tail). I see crosscut saw being used but that name seems to be used for other saw types as well.

Your st 200 makes me miss my old PULSE they have the same lock.

I'm not really into classic leathermans . I always seem to prefer to buy a new one but the pulse is a classic I really would like to own again.

I had one some smurfhole stole it out of my car with in a niteize pockets full of tools about 2003.

I just might have to hunt one down after Xmas.

one of the best leatherman I myself have edced and can swear by. I did alot of big jobs with that midsize leatherman.

nice pic

enki, the saw was made by Disston & Sons. I hear them called hand saws, cross cut saw and rip saws.

Joel sorry about the Pulse. Hope you find another.    :)

I would call that a panel saw.  In fact I'd call that a very nice panel saw. :tu:

It's a beautiful day here and I had my camera out, so I wanted to try to capture the patina that my Oupa Melted Copper Climber has developed over the past few years.  It's hard to show in pics, but I think these give a fair representation, with not quite as much iridescence as in person.

I don't touch the copper.  I do pull it out of my collection occasionally and rub it with a clean terrycloth.  Even with the patina it shines like new, and the colors nearly disappear in direct sunlight.

Here is a link to pictures of it earlier in this thread from 2008, when the patina was just starting to form, and some history a few posts down from the pics: http://forum.multitool.org/the-shutter-shop/the-great-multitool-picture-thread/msg78963/#msg78963

Very cool one, Terry.

I think it's time to do another one of those modding contests. :D There was talk about it a year or so ago but maybe it needs a bit of a bump. ;)

Here's all my Leatherman Family, gota love them... Just to put it perspective, I have only really been fully EDCing since September 2013 after getting a LM Rebar and Micra combo for fathers day since then I have bought the following - LM Removable Bit Driver (Rebar), Skinth OG Sheath, LM Surge, Led Lenser P3, LM 42 Bit Kit, LM Bit Extender, LM Wingman, LM Brewzer, LM Sidekick, LM Z-Rex, Monarch 6, LM Carabiner, Skinth Plus Sheath. I was also given a BG Gerber Folder and Swiss+Tech Key Tool from a mate of mine (Xiii) for Secret Santa on another Forum. Just think what I will be adding after a full year....

Here are some of My Leatherman's next to my Wife's SAK's she collected them when she was on holiday in Switzerland before we meet, have converted her to a Wingman now, she still carries the SAK Classic. Only LM missing from the group is my Sidekick.

Here's my Skinth Plus all kitted out...

The Skinth Plus is sporting a Ninja black SS belt clip...

Founder & Chief UAV Pilot at Elevated Drone Control Zone

Rotation EDC: LM MUT, LM OHT, Fenix LD12 / LD22, Benchmade Mini Griptilian, Bit Card, Bit Extender, TEC Ti-Pry Bar, Garmin Tactix Delta, LM Tread LT, iPhone XS Max, iPad Pro (2020) 12.9”,

Other EDC: LM Surge, LM Wave, LM Wave BO, Skeletool & Skeletool KBX Coyote Tan, The RIT [Rapid Intervention Tool], Zippo Lighter,

I couldn't agree more.  We certainly have the talent in the membership here to easily do one.  The annual mod contests were one of my favorite things about the SOSAK forum.

Nice "cleanskin" mini

Thank you Greg. I've been in ST200, MINI mode lately. That MINI is well used but still in decent shape.

Original ST, MINI and a PWII. The ST and MINI are both date coded in 95    :)
