Where'd you get the Canadian one? Very Cool.

It was a shop edition from SchweizerMesser Shop a few years ago. They still do some, but I believe this one is extinct now.

Pioneer making itself useful providing liquid sustenance to the chef at tea time.  Also demonstrating it's ease of cleaning after falling in the beer when I tried for an arty shot perched on top of the mug !

Had this Pioneer for over two years. Bought it at the time "just to have one" and ocasional carry when i needed a sturdier sak, as i was a die hard red cellidor fanatic. Little did i know that a couple of years later, i just can't put this thing down, waiting for a delivery for a couple of silver Pioneer X's this week, and am trying really hard not to order another two read and blue ones, i really don't know if i'll succeed...  :dwts:

Ah, you've got a case of the Alox Pox it seems.  Welcome to the Pioneer X Uneven Pants Club!  I got a lot of use out of mine yesterday - scissors and awl in particular. Those two tools make awl the difference.

Please do forgive me for editing your post in mine - my OCD-ish tendencies are acting up today.

Chanced upon this one recently.  It's a user/carrier, but that also means it was actually affordable.  I love it.

The pioneer is my all time favourite SAK, I think I have 5 of them stashed all over the place.

Ya know a funny thing about the Pioneer to me.. i was gifted a silver Pioneer some yrs ago but never gave it a go because I did not like the silver handles.. So about a month ago I finally decided to give it some pocket time and look past the silver.. Well.. It has been a edc more than it hasnt.. I liked it so well that I searched and found a green one which is way more appealing than the silver to me.. Should be here later this week or next.. And thatun will be getting ALOT of carry.. :hatsoff:

As I was looking for a suitable candidate for a 2-layer knife to carry in today's challenge, I found this knife.
I thought this was a Soldier due to the date being on the blade, but since it has a keyring it's a Pioneer.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Awesome Pioneer, Lisa!   Pioneers and Electricians with year-stamped blades are seen from 97, 98, and 99.   Although I don't think they were the norm, the company must've had surplus blades from Model 1961 manufacture during these years and used them up for regular production.

I am missing my Pioneer. Can‘t wait to carry it again after the EDC challenge. I thought i would be ok going back to cellidor, but i am not  I am really missing the tougher tools of the Alox series.
