The package arrived but no knife  :( It was split open at one end and was either taken or fell out  :( The box and instructions were still in there .

jzmtl I feel so angry for you . You went to all that trouble and kindness  :tu:

I would just like to thank you for your kindness and gesture , such a shame you went to all that trouble and now its gone missing .

Looks like someone between Canada and here has a nice new knife  >:(

That's poor  :(  Did it come in one of those "sorry, this item was damaged whilst in our care" bags?

Neil
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

No it didm't come in a bag like that . It was just normal but with a hole in the corner just big enough for the knife to slide out  :(

Oh you gotta be kidding me.  :( Not even a "package is damaged when received" stamp on the envelope? Just when I thought post office is finally free of crooks...

The really annoying thing is the package is in really good condition , its not like it got run over by the plane on the runway .

For me this is the first time this has happened  :( I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for 2009 . I hope to god Carson gets his package from me ok .

I lost 2 packages sent to a fellow in Beverly Hills,CA. Still not sure who took them, the Postal carrier or someone who was watching him. I suspect there are many no good thieves who either have help from inside or watch for packages.  :(

Here in DFW we had a lady who was the newspaper delivery person and she was stealing packages off porches during this last holiday season. Since she already knew who had money and who might be gone for a few days for holiday she was able to walk away with quite a bit. She got caught by a camera by someone who suspected.  :P

Another incident similar was another worker who made deliveries early in the morning and was stealing from businesses. That person was selling the stuff on eBay and made off with quite a haul. While they found out who was doing it he was never caught.  :o

I suspect there are loads of FELONS selling stolen property on eBay and almost nothing can be done about it. One lady here in a DFW suburb had an expensive personal item stolen from her vehicle. After no real help from the police she scoured eBay on the advice of a PI and sure enough found it for sale about a month later. eBay refused to do anything saying she had no proof the item was hers even though she had the serial number and the item's manufacture spec's that only an owner could have. The sale was canceled but she still did not get it back. Now who is the bigger CROOK? EBAY you say!   >:( Maybe, but you will have to have loads of proof according to their lawyers.  :bnghd:

Sorry, rant over.   :D

Sure hate that you lost something in the postal system guys.  :(

I have a lot of stuff on the way to me from the US, and some of it is very, very late. Several things ordered since, have arrived in between.

I'm really quite worried.
I used to come here a lot.

I know how you feel Dunc. I was worried about the PST and the Sideclips making it to you safely. I'll definitely let you know as soon as it arrives.
