I just fell over
on: December 26, 2008, 12:22:08 PM
I just come back from the shop with a sack of coal and my ankle gave way and over I went . Landed quite hard on the side of my chest and although I'm alright I'm a bit sore  :(

So my question is , do you think 11am gmt is too early to have a JD for medicinal purposes ?

As far as I am concerned. As long as I dont have to drive or work machinery. Jack can come out to play at any time!

Pop a few pills with it to make sure it works properly.

The only machinery I will be driving is the computer mouse  :D

I think I've bruised my ribs a bit as it hurts when I move , cough and laugh  :(
The JD did help a bit but I don't want to drink too much otherwise I'll fall asleep and I want to watch Pirates of the Caribbean ( Dead mans chest ) tonight and have a little Rum  ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys  :tu: I'm very sore this morning but I don't think I've cracked a rib but if it gets worse I'll get it checked out . seems I've hurt my thumb as well as it hurts to bend it  ::)
Yes I really was sober . I guess I shouldn't run with a sack of coal  ::) and no it wasn't for my steam engine  :twak: My central heating is solid fuel .I'm supposed to go to a party tonight but I might just stay in . Party's involving the lifeboat crew aren't for the faint of heart and to turn up already with an injury would be suicide  >:D looks like Uncle Jack and Captain morgan will look after me  ;) And of course I can keep you guys entertained  ::)

If you cracked or broke any ribs, whatever you do, don't watch any comedies or sneeze.  The rest of the time the pain is bearable, but when you sneeze you feel like you swallowed a hand grenade!
