In Stock Steel pivots 3 / 2.5 mm for Custom SAK by decustomforge

Material: Heat treated stainless steel Aisi 321

Diameter: 2.5 mm
Barrel Lenght: 8.8 mm (For 2 layers model)
Thread: Metric m2
Diameter: 3 mm
Barrel Lenght: 8.8 mm (For 2 layers model)
Thread: Metric m2

Diameter: 2.5 mm
Barrel Lenght: 11.8 mm (For 3 layers model, for some 3 layers model pivots need to be cut slightly -0.8 mm)
Thread: Metric m2 (thread on both sides to a depth of 5 mm)
Diameter: 3 mm
Barrel Lenght: 11.8 mm (For 3 layers model, for some 3 layers model pivots need to be cut slightly -0.8 mm.)
Thread: Metric m2 (thread on both sides to a depth of 5 mm)

These pivot barrels are made for standard axial sizes of 3 and 2.5 mm,
so as not to drill holes in the tools you want to use, in rare exceptions, you only need to widen the hole in the liners +0.05 mm.

That's why this pivot barrels are the most precise for the custom SAK industry.

All pivot barrels have been heat treated to an optimum spring temper to insure the best wear and strength properties.

I bought some a few weeks ago.  Then I picked up some M2x4mm and M2x5mm countersunk torx T6 screws in stainless steel from a UK based source, but there seemed to be plenty other sources who could supply the screws.  They fit!  :-)

Yes, in fact, the screws are very easy to find. Did you manage to make your own custom mod? :)

I ave not made a mod based on the Pioneer range.  I'm still thinking abou tthe tool set I want.

I bought 2 of the 2.5mm pivots for my compact deluxe tinker mod, works really well, fit was perfect! Saved me the trouble of figuring out how to cut the brass rods and peen rods for the whole mod.

Only for the 14th year Anniversary Challenge. Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month.
