No more till 2021
on: November 21, 2019, 08:38:09 PM
No more tools or knives till 2021. Since getting back into multitools I have spent more than I should have on tools and knives. But a recent reality check in the shape of a broken Boiler has made me realise I need to put more by for a rainy day and stop spending money on things I don’t need.

So I have started my New Years resolution from today, so from now on “if I don’t need it I can’t have it”

My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

That is why there is such thing as good ole fashioned tradin'.
Rather mundane quote entered here to approximate humor.

Trade :whistle:something to consider later when I am out of the hole I’m in. Till then I will have to go cold turkey and appreciate what I have and stop looking for the next fix.

Sorry to hear it, chip :salute: I have slowed way down on purchases as well in the last year or so, firstly because I need the money for other things and secondly I have plenty of tools and knives   Good luck buddy and I hope you can save some back  I will continue to get some stuff but nothing like I use to :D

:iagree: great way to try a tool and send off a tool you dont get along with of have doubles of.

I do however understand pumping the brakes on buying.  This is a great way to enjoy what tools you do have and get a better understanding of what you like and dont.  I love recycling tools I've forgotten about and rediscovering tools I once didn't get along with.
