Probably, though would be worried about heat damage is using a Dremel tool to make the circular cutting on the side and ends. And if would need to send in for repair that would be violating the warranty - not that I've heard of SAK breaking.
Did have to send the S557 EvoWood in for pliers exchange and something else. I'd trade the S557 for this knife if someone was interested in such a trade. The S557 has very nice scales and nail tool, past that think the only thing I used was that oddly shaped awl - it has a wiggle on the end.
But works great for paracord and knots.
The wrench was dissapointing... and the pliers, meh.
