Maxpedition Falcon 3
on: December 08, 2019, 03:18:16 AM
Just picked up a Maxpedition Falcon 3 brand new on the cheap.  This colour is called wolf grey. It's roughly the same size as my Sitka type S. I'm gonna try it out next week as my travel bag and see how it compares to my current carry 5.11 Rush 24.

I have a Falcon II and absolutely love it.  I live in Central Florida and ride a motorcycle as my sole means of transportation.  My Falcon II is my EDC bag. I’ve had it well over a year and it is abused.  There is not so much as a fray in the stitching.  Fantastic piece of kit.  Everything I’ve ever purchased from Maxpedition is like that, and I have several items.  It will serve you well.
That’s gonna leave a mark.

As a fellow Sitka user, I am interested in seeing what you think of this one after a few miles.

Sitka is the clear winner. Type S.

The falcon 3 is good for car traveling but the Sitka is something that is near perfection for EDC. Just the right size. Thinking about buying another and have it in reserve incase they discontinue that model.

I'm gonna switch up my edc bag next week. Going from my 5.11 Rush 24 ( which is an AWESOME pack ) to the Falcon 3 to give it some real field testing. Going from IT and AV work to AG has really pushed my gear to its limits.

I already know what my favorite sling bag is, time to find the best backpack.

Also,  :worthless:

so I'll be sure to add photos.  :D :D
