DAY 1:

Couldn't find my rivet gun so improvised.
The set nails were too thick so I cut down some thinner ones to use.

(Image removed from quote.)

And used the 110 to cut the ends flush.

(Image removed from quote.)
Interesting, you used a hacksaw blade, and made a knife blade! Handle has plenty of grip area.  Is there a special use for this style?

And, great to have you join the team, makes a Bakers’ Dozen!!!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

These kids (5 - 7 year olds?) went to a bush school.
They made the knifes there and one day a week go do things like gardening, whittling, exploring etc etc.

Thank you for the welcome. I'll do my best to be here all month.

That is so cool, to help a young person fix their knife.  Makes a lasting impression.

Occasionally, a yougin’ in the neighborhood will visit me with a broken bike, to challenge my skill set. Feels good to help out.

Good job  :salute:

Yeah eh, I really feel for the kids around here atm.
Their routine (important for a kid IMO) is gone, school is closed, no playing with friends, adults are stressed to the max.
I'm spending a lot of time trying to come up with ways to keep them engaged and interacting without putting them at risk.

So, back on topic...

Day 01: Preparing to add some slices of chouriço to a 4 cheese pizza (my usual MO). I awlways get 4 cheese as a base, then add whatever I feel like before putting it in the oven.

Day 01:

Mother Nature played a prank on us and dropped 4" of snow yesterday and last night. No need for the 110 while shoveling, but the day is still young.....

:tu:    Day 1 -

Mrs LC showing signs of cabin fever, so I agreed to take her for a car ride, then she said we needed bread, then begged to stop for drive-thru lunch at Taco Bell   :dunno:

When finally dragged her back home, was able to restock a couple suet cake feeders.  Buck 110 LT DP opened packaging.

We've been mobbed by birds lately. Spring is often a lean time for them....and snow doesn't make it any easier!

Day 1

I'd like to take credit for a scratch pizza, but I did slice a few mushrooms to top off a frozen pie

Day 1 photos

I was really surprised when I picked up this knife...it didn’t come in a blister pack that some of the Walmart’s and Bass Pro have but came in a regular box and when I saw the Ebony handles, I snapped it up. They are very nice. The 110 blade is a slicer for sure!
