How do we feel about carrying more than one SAK?  So, for example; a Spartan and a Classic?  In the spirit of the challenge or not?

There's certainly going to be interest in a two-SAK challenge... or a Something+SAK challenge... ( I called this a SAK got your Six Challenge on this thread here https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,85623.0.html )

I'm sure a two SAK challenge will gain some traction since we talk about modular SAK systems often enough.

I dig the challenge name. Might have to count me in!

Does not seem like it is in the spirit of the challenge, to me.  Sounds like you'd be adding a third layer. For a two or fewer layer challenge.......  :pok:

This is kind of my thoughts.  Considering the name is “Minimal”, it seems like the challenging part would be to stick with a max of two layers.  Now if you were to say 2 single layer SAKs then I would consider that to be in the spirit of the challenge because it is keeping it at two layers total.

We can still change out other 2 layer models during the challenge correct? I suppose that would be the purpose of the challenge though. Run what ya brung.

Well said, which is, alas, the reason why I won't participate this time. With so many participants it would take considerable time every day to read everything attentively and actively comment.  :dunno:

Yes.  Changing out from day-to-day is fine, as long as what you are carrying for the day is minimal (1-2 layers )

I’m sorry you feel that way, but can understand.  Even with fewer participants, sometimes when life gets in the way, it is hard for me to keep up.  I just post daily and go back when I can.

It'll take me the rest of the month to choose which one... Compact, Executive, Manager, Wenger Viking, Sparan, Walker, Classic SD Alox, Cadet, Pioneer, Solo, Bantam Alox...  :dunno:

I'm inclined to go Executive in the spirit of it being discontinued, and it seems like a really nice carry. It might be interesting to see if I can survive be content without scissors for a month (hint: probably not  :ahhh ).
The Executive has scissors...

Yes -- sorry, those were two separate thoughts... either Executive, or go with something without scissors.

Although, the way things are going this semester, I won't have any time to go anywhere or use anything.  :ahhh

10-4 on Sos, EB and SVL’s post. The last challenge I participated in made me feel guilty because I couldn’t keep up. But post anyways, catch up when you can and enjoy the ride!

Thanks, I appreciate it. Still, I wouldn't feel comfortable to just rush through 30+ contributions a day and not have time to muse about or comment on any (or not even rush through all of the contributions at all). I will check in every now and then from the sidelines though and wish all of you gentlemen a great time!
