I’ll give it a go as well! Choice will be between a Cadet, Compact or Recruit...

Recruit is a good option.   :tu:

I'll be going with the Compact myself... unless I get something new between now and November

it's only the Adventurer and the Tourist that are on my shopping list for two layers.  So there's only a small possibility.

I want a custom Voyageur, but that's not happening in this lifetime.

I gave my Recruit away as a gift, so I don't think I'll get another one.

But I said the same about the Nomad that I gave away... and that empty space in my lineup lasted for about 7 months before being refilled.   :ahhh

Furbles, welcome to MTO, and good to have you on the Minimal Challenge!

13) BClogic
14) Wessaen
15) Rukaks
16) SirVicaLot
17) Rizio Il Ghiro
18) Furbles
19) SurgeUK
I've added myself. I only have 3 options (at the moment) those being;

1) Spartan
2) Cadet
3) Pioneer (this years L.E offering)

It'll give me a chance to see just how minimal I can go (especially with the Cadet  :ahhh )

Furthermore, as it'll be approaching the festive season there would be an opportuntiy for Xmas based antics  :2tu:

20) Altis

My current options:

- Classic SD Alox
- Manager
- Walker
- Bantam Alox
- Compact
- Spartan PS
- Wenger Viking
- Anything else I have an excuse to pick up (looking at you, Victorinox Signature  )

The obvious choice would be Compact most of the time, but I feel like Walker or Classic SD Alox would be more challenging. This will be a bit different for me as I tend towards the bigger SAKs, mainly the CyberTool M.

Might I suggest you hang on to your Classic SD Alox for the "Grand Keychain Tool Extravaganza Challenge" that I am plotting for some time in 2021.  Classics, Managers, Dimes, Micras, Splices, Styles and many more will all be in the proverbial sandbox.  It's an idea ive been thinking about - how much one can do with a keychain sized tool where the tradeoff is length of the tools for a potential increase in the number of (albiet smaller) tools.

Oh the Classic SD Alox isn't going anywhere -- easily one of my favorite SAKs. At only 6 mm thick and 17g weight, it disappears into any pocket or wallet.

Sounds like a fun challenge.

Am I late to the party?
Haven't been up to a challenge much lately and this would give me the push to finally get the remade scales onto my spartain.

You don’t have to stick to the same one the entire challenge.  So you could start out with the waiter and then switch to the compact later if you want to.

I don’t see your name so should I be adding it :pok:

Ah, cool that’s good. Yes please add me, I did add it in the quote above but my first challenge so that’s probably not how it’s done!

Thank you!
A question ( I'm trying to map a rough schedule for different activities for the rest of year): Is Wine Master (or Sentinel) considered eligible for this?
I've been eying a couple of bottles of Brunello (my favorite) and their time might be up in November but I'd like to use Wine Master for opening, so I'm wondering if it fits the challenge?
Sentinel on the other hand would fit couple of tasks/edc for some days/activities that currently seem to be landing to November.
