It was a real bummer how the project came to be.  Great thing is how it IS today.  It really goes to show how you persevered and made something  :drool: worthy.  That is one heck of a space.  I bet you are so proud of it I know I'd be in there so much my partner would probably take out a missing persons  :rofl:

Yes, I'm very pleased with it.  It's been something that I've been thinking about doing for years, and I'm glad I finally got the boost needed to get the space I wanted.  I wish I could spend longer down there but home-schooling the kids and my own part-time work prevent me from getting as much time as I'd like.  Soon, hopefully.

I've got an internet connection down there, so I can work on my PC if I need to but it's a bit flaky (ethernet over powerline) and even with the insulation and heating it's a bit cold for sitting still when it's 2 or 3 °C outside.
