Best one I've got. I splurged, being used to cheap camp axes and the banged-up antique workhorses I own. One-piece construction means no handle that will come loose. I dinged the edge, cutting into a board that had a nail in it. Tried to sharpen it out, and blunted the edge. I've not really fixed it that well yet. The sheath may be nylon, but it holds up well. It exposes the back of the head, meaning you can hammer on just about anything without risking hurting yourself or others.

I want to find an older one with the notch for pulling nails. One thing to not buy on eBay is used axes--postage and axe equal what a new Estwing is at most stores around here.
