I think so too!   Christopher Nolan did a fantastic job with the trilogy, only if he could have done the Batman vs Superman(which was totally a great comic to read).

And I am a big fan of Christopher Nolan's films, Inception, Memento, Dark Knights series, and not to mention, one of my all time favorite, Interstellar.  Absolute fantastic filmography and story telling.

Day 17:

I've become quite fond of this Taxtix Armory knife by Walter Sorrells. 3.25" Blade from S30V, micarta scales. Couldn't be simpler, but the feel and balance really works well for a small personal knife. It came with a kydex sheath that is worn IWB. I like the kydex for it's sweat protection, but kydex sheaths tend to scratch blades up. Most of the apparent wear & tear on this knife is due to unsheathing and resheathing the knife.

Still a great, and discreet, EDC.  :tu:

Day 13: Gerber Fit

So, this knife I picked up because I didn't like the ArmBar drive, due to the lack of a lock on any of the tools. This old Fit has Gerber's standard locking tools, in an attractive, if somewhat large, setup. The key tool here is the bit driver, which takes double-sided ball-retained bits. Fortunately, I have a small set of these from a cheapie hardware store 11-in-1 screwdriver. There is no magnet in the driver, so it will not retain the longer quick-release bits or any dual sided bit without ball bearing retention. But, it's a very usable driver, and the tool feels like a scewdriver when its extended, as the bitdriver is in the dead center.

The other big tool on this is a flashlight powered by a triple-A battery. It's not particularly bright -- a new maglight solitare is far brighter... but for an old tool it's not bad, and it's very usable. I wouldn't go walking in the dark with it, but if you need to search through your girlfriend's bottomless purse, or find a screw or spring that jumped away and rolled under the couch or workbench, this light is great for that. Or even for lighting a path or the lock on your door when someone turned the porch light off. And triple-A power means no stupid hard-to-find button cells to replace.

The tool also comes with a large pair of scissors, which I've used here to cut some gel and m emory foam insoles for my new motorcycle boots. They worked perfectly at this.

The blade is a combo edge, but it's nice and long and can still be used to prepare food or really any task you ask of it. It comes quite sharp.   Those are the main tools. It also comes with two tiny eyeglass drivers under the main driver, as well as tweezers in the scale.

On my copy, I modified a Schrade pocket clip and mounted it to the knife, so that it is more useful to me. It's rather a bit larger than a regular pocket knife -- it's the same size as the Aitor I posted earlier.

Charles.

Day 17: The holder of "the weirdest knife/tool I own" goes to this design, the Bundeswehr or German Army Knife.
Top one is a cheap chinese reproduction, bottom is a Victorinox Trooper.

I've been tempted by those knockoff GAKs every time I go to the SMKW website. $5, and they seem to have a properly formed wood saw. But, I've heard they are utter crap. But, then again, at least you get a vinyl pouch and the saw cover, in case you're missing that on an authentic GAK.

Day 17

Some Strider Knives. Top one is a knife that was made out of scrap metal left over from their regular production. They use to make all kinds of neat knives from scraps. The middle knife is a EB-AC and the bottom folder is an AR.
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

I do love the simplicity of straight edge in both purpose and resharpening!   Nice!   :tu:

Day 17

A Utica Trapper - i grew up not that far from where this knife was made, so despite being newer it still has a little nostalgia factor.  It was a GAW shortly after I joined MTO, which was the start of me understanding just how great MTO is.
