Day 29:

Finally!  Been looking around for a deep carry clip for my stainless Delica.  Decided on one from Lynch. Titanium.  I had been trying to get one in stainless that was polished, to try to match the knife better, this was best I could find.

Haven’t carried it yet. But will soon. Finally got a Saturday off from work, so just chilling at home!

Day 30: Everyone, first thank you so much for a fun Challenge!  It's been great seeing all the different Spyderco models being out to the test.  Ideally I would want to team up mine with a multitool of some type to cover the unseen things that come up.  I had hoped to try a Spyderench, or see one in this Challenge, but they're becoming more of a collector's piece.  For cutting, it's pretty difficult to beat Sal Glesser's products!  Don't forget to put in for the badge, and tell us what you think about your experience this month.  For my pic, my PM2 and I restocked the water softener.

Day 30:

Great challenge guys!

I really connected with my PM2 this challenge and found it to be a great knife :like: The S30V steel does a great job, and I was able to strop it back to arm shaving sharp after using it a bit hard at work :tu:
The UKPK is also a great little knife and so is the Byrd Crow :like:
Here is my last pics of the challenge :salute:

The PM2 passing the torch to the Rebar for the next challenge :tu:

Thanks for an interesting challenge with many great looking Spyders :hatsoff:

Day 30

Purposely carring PM2 for the last day of the challenge, it attended snack duty on a leisure Sunday.

Thank you Barry for hosting this wonderful challenge :hatsoff:  and everyone parting in it  , I had been joining many challenges for the past year, and thanks to this challenge, I get a chance to reconnect with my Spydies.  Carrying this PM2 reminded me how it got started with me--like Barry, I resisted Spydies for the longest time and used to think their shapes were weird at best, I used to wonder why they couldn't keep their lines straight and never quite understand their popularity.  Only many years later I picked up a PM2, then it grew on me and I finally understood the Spydie fever.  And the rest was history.  :D

First things first; Thanks to Barry for sorting this out. Well done and thank you  :tu:  :hatsoff:

Secondly; Thanks to all of you for opening my eyes to what I can't have (Autonomy anyone  )

So, I only have two Spydies;
1) Manix 2 Lightweight, courtesy of Leathermanluva (jolly, damned-fine, splendid chap)  :hatsoff:

2) UKPK (drop point) from HH (faultless service, as always)

As I mentioned earlier in the challenge; I have found this to be a challenge, as I rarely have need for just a blade (even this good) and often find myself needing a screwdriver, or two, pliers and scissors (and an awl comes in handy as well)  :dunno:

I have also carried my FX + Spydie every day when off duty, just in case. (I can only carry Gov't issued stuff when at work)

However, I have managed to use just a Spydie for all I posted and can't fault the quality of both the blades and workmanship  :tu:

I think that we, in the UK, are somewhat limited in carrying several tools; MT+SAK etc due to our laws (let's not do that again) So, of my paltry two Spydies, I could only reasonably carry the UKPK when out and about  ::)

It doesn't mean I won't buy another (of course) but I would really like a proper Spydie MT and no, I don't mean the SpyderWrench!
However, you great people have some lovely looking Spydies so....

Day 30  :woohoo:

Thought I'd finish the challenge off strong with probably my favourite spydie to carry, the Sage 1:

It's been a great month folks and made me appreciate the Spydercos more (and want to acquire more  :ahhh), it's been a pleasure gents  :hatsoff:
