Day 0 - Getting Ready. Adding a SAK Pocket Pal for PE duties as I have no experience with the Butterblade, but know I do like Victorinox Serrated blades.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Seeing how noone took me up on the loan offer, the Spirit XC and Spirit XBS will be competing for playing time, although the XBS will get the start.

Thanks.  I love the looks of the XBS, but I also really like the butter blade of the XC, partially because I almost always have a plain edge knife of some sort on me.

Day 1

Hi, everyone!

I see some familiar faces coming right off the Fieldmaster challenge, and plunging right into this March Madness here with us.  Good to see you again!

Great to rediscover the 91mm scissors on Swisstool, it's something I often miss when using the Spirit.

My Swisstool reporting to duty first day of Madness.  The most noticeable is the weight, being one of the heavier weight in the Victorinox family, it is a pretty sharp contrast to a 3-4 layers SAK many of us would carry daily.  Honestly, after some many years of owning the Swisstool, I don't think I did carry this tool more than a day at a time.  So thanks to Douglas, this is the perfect opportunity to try it out.

That's gonna be a tough choice for me, I love the grippy-ness of black coating, but I also love the shinny-ness of my Spirit X...

Day 1: not sure I'll really have a use for the Spirit today, but who knows?

so let's start with a glam shot on the train before going through overflown areas to the destination :)

PS : gonna be tough to keep only Spirit for the next weeks as I have just built my dream MP600 and will make the -hopefully- perfect sheath for it!
