Klarus E1 battery

Hello all,

I was wondering if any of the fine people here have any familiarity with the Klarus E1?
I purchased the E1 and am enjoying it, but was recently thinking of its longevity. I can easily find Klarus batteries, but not the particular ones for my light. It uses a proprietary 18650 with both +/- on one end.
Most sites that carry Klarus batteries tend not to carry the one I need. Has anyone been able to source these batteries or are there any other options from other manufacturers?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I wonder if the Olight battery will work in that light? They have one with both connections at one end as well I believe.

Don't know if this helps, but I have crappy Ultrafire & Trustfire 18650's from 6-8 years ago that still work fine.

I tried to read some techinical data to see photos of that model of Klarus.
That battery is proprietary and has a particular conformation, making changes to standard batteries could be dangerous.
When it runs out you need to buy an identical battery.
To prolong battery life, remember to keep the battery/flashlight away from heat (example: do not leave in the car in summer)
Do not fully charge (example: stop at 4.10 V instead of 4.20) but in your case I don't know how you can do it since it is not standard and you cannot use a charger. Do you charge it with micro usb port? If you can stop charging and measure with a multimeter to see what charge level you've come to.
Do not leave the battery discharged for too many days (it is harmful) if you do not use the flashlight for an extended period, keep the battery voltage between 3.6 and 3.8 V
