Way to go buddy!!
One of the things I got out of this challenge was a desire to upgrade my ST 300 to a Super Tool. I like the ST 300 well enough, but I really liked my buddy's OG ST.

I tracked this one down on eBay, just arrived today:

(Image removed from quote.)

The contractor's engraving gives my Super Tool the obvious name of "Davy" and brought the price down to a reasonable $25 US. Davy rides in the pocket more easily and feels great in hand. The pliers are a little loose, but everything seems near mint. This may now be my favorite Leatherman.  :tu:

Congrats on the OG, Nix  Wished they had been able to keep the compactness of the OG with the lock system of the 300 :ahhh Maybe the next iteration :dd: The OG in hand does feel the best to use to me and is definitely the most pocketable of the whole family (unless of course you count the Rebar as the baby brother in the family ;) :D )

Nice! Wish I could lay my greedy hands on a universal tool adapter - hard to find these days...

Yours should be on it's way later today. Seen you've been looking for one since 2011?? :ahhh

Thanks  :like:

On and off, yeah. I have had the one for the legacy LM tools for ages now, but the universal variant is, how shall I put it, more ehhh.... universal  :D as in: it'll fit on more MTs.

They are almost impossible to find in Europe, and when you do find one in an auction (assuming it's actually the Universal one, not a mislabeled 'normal'/legacy-tools-only one) , they're grabbed up at exorbitant prices.

Ebay has stopped permitting European customers to bid on US based multitool related auctions a while ago.
Cheers!

Have used the one, heading your way, on other non-Leatherman tools too. Yet I found no reason to carry it. Have the other Leatherman adapter in a bit kit with a 1/4 inch flat adapter too. Used it a few times though I don't carry the bit kit anymore either.

Would probably carry a Leatherman Crunch with bits if I had a need, as the area where the adjuster screw is has a recess for full 1/4 inch bits.
