SHOT 2020- Off Grid Tools
on: January 21, 2020, 07:14:45 PM
Probably should have put this in the Axe Hole, but it's good here for now!

I don't think this is new?  Still, it looks cool, although I have to wonder if there's much point to the glass breaker when you have the hammer and the axe head on it, but I doubt any of my neighbors will be very happy if I try it out.

Pretty cool, I like the hacksaw blade. Do you think it’s replaceable with generic reciprocating saw blades?
Also, what is # 14 listed as? I’m guessing some kind of unadjustable wrench??

It is not new.  I had actually ordered one, but then returned it.  I thought it looked cool and could be a nice little tool to have.
The handle was very uncomfortable to me and didn’t feel that sturdy and the axe edge was really dull.  I might have kept it if I had a good grinder to sharpen it with.

Thanks Grant! I wasn’t able to click on the pic, and when zoomed in just got blurry. I was wrong, I was curious about #16-demolition grip teeth.? Interesting

Yeah, I have to reduce the photos to post on the forum.  Megan has the latest and greatest super duper Iphone with 76 different cameras on it, and I think she takes pictures in at least seven different dimensions.  Since there is no way in Hades that the forum will take these photos, I shrink them down and that does obscure the odd detail.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but you will have to take it up with Steve Jobs!

Now that's a can opener I'd love to test! :like:
I saw a review on it, the first design. Too many flaws. They updated the hell out of it.

Although it's not new, they were pretty pumped about it. It seems that they've been working on revisions to get it right.

If that is the case then I might have to try it again.

I’ll see if we can get our hands on one to test and review.
