The rumours were true! Victorinox has released beautiful Aqua Blue Alox for 2020.

I think blue is a great color.

But it isn’t orange.  :whistle:

Could not agree more.  They'll get my money for my usual Cadet and Pioneer, and I will hope for orange in the future.  :)

Why can‘t they at least make ALL of their Alox models in those colors  :twak:

I kinda like this color.

This is one of the first non-red/silver Alox to be made, for the Canadian division of Albany Felts (there was also one for the American division).

You know, Case's "Vault" LEs are usually models that have been out of circulation for a few years, in several handle variations. Yet, we always get Cadet/Classic/Pioneer in one handle. Maybe Vic could consider something similar each year.

The blue is definitely not turquoise or teal like in Victorinox’s Instagram photo. I’d say it’s more vibrant and brighter than my photo though. It’s a very nice blue in person.

How come they don't offer a Pioneer X in the yearly releases?

Hmmm... I already have blue Pioneers and Cadets that look to be a similar shade.  But I’ll probably grab the Pioneer eventually.

I’d like a bright color (orange?) with blackout tools sometime. Or do a professional model with a special blade steel (S30V or M390 etc.)

My remaining hope this year is to get the Cadet for 2020’s Damasteel model. And a suggestion to Victorinox, make All the tools Damascus.  :o

Joking aside... I was hoping for something special for 2020.  We've seen blue in Alox already (albeit a different shade).  Even white, yellow, slate, gunmetal, or wine would have been something unique.

I like them - A lovely shade of blue - Much nicer than the 2015 LE blue.
