New for 2020 - Ultra XR Folding Knife

An extremely light EDC folding knife, the Ultra XR weighs in at just 34g, (1.2oz for our American friends!)

This knife is almost too light for me. It has a carbon fibre handle, and the steel is S35VN with a titanium nitride finish. Like all of SOG's new knife offerings, it features an XR lock for one-handed opening. It's really smooth and was easy for me to open in both my right and left hand.

It has a nice pocket clip (they called it a money clip) on it which helps keep the super light tool safe on/in your pocket. You'll see that SOG's rebrand includes much smaller logos. It's more about the knife and less about the marketing. We liked this.

Looks like a great knife in a small package... it also comes with a less blingy grayish-black blade/clip version.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Good to hear they have another color as I'm not loving the yellow/gold.

I think this is the most promising product in the new lineup.  Bugout was a big seller for BM back when they bring it out.

I think the strength and weakness of this is the clip.
If you like/use a money clip, then this is great, if you don't then it is probably too large for just being used as a knife.
However, without the clip it will also be great as it is very small. I think it will, like the Mini Bugout, fit into an altoid tin.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
