Leatherman Surge Warranty Question UK

Hi guys,

I picked up a BO Surge last month which I love however there are a few things bothering me with it. The serrated blade has a good few mm blade play back and forth and the lock bar for the inside tools on the same side is loose, so much so that it rattles when I shake the tool. 

I'm just wondering if this would bother anyone else with their new Leatherman or am I expecting too much. It has been used now so a return is out of the question.

My last Last leatherman was a 2nd generation wave which I had no issues with.

Should I send it in for warranty?

Return it to the shop you bought it from and tell them you want another that doesn't have issues.

@SteveC  unfortunately I bought it online from a shop in Poland! I'll send it in to the service centre and see what they say.

Hey Tom, I'm assuming it was cheaper, Which shop in Poland? I'm after a  Signal :)


As for the issue, I think my first action would be to speak to them its not that far away and surely they will  provide aftersales service.
