Swiss Army IPA
« on: January 26, 2020, 11:08:48 AM »
Was on my last beer today when someone walked in and handed me a box.
Apparently they thought it was very me.

That is very cool.  Unfortunately, the store that would have been my best chance of getting it closed a few days ago and the owners retired.

It would have been better in a bottle so you can use your SAK to open it.

You could use the can opener just because

Haha, excellent. Better if they could do a bottled limited edition with a Spartan included, Liberty branded.  8)

I've noticed a rapid movement towards canned craft beer. Cans being cheaper to buy maybe, require less packaging, and cheaper to freight due to less unit volume and weight.

Recently heard that cans also look after the beer inside better -  -  I always thought the reverse   :pok:

This is because they block the light out and light degrades beer!!

This is why beer bottles are usually brown not clear - Better light blocker!

And I'd imagine single use metal containers are more energy efficient than the same in glass, assuming that both are recycled...

Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!
