This is the most used part of a kit I take to work with me everyday in case I'm headed off the beaten path. (Backpack with knife/multitool/survival gear/first aid/etc...just in case) These three items get used more than the rest from that backpack if for nothing more than making a hot cup of tea or instant coffee. This is my Leatherman Surge, Heavy Cover titanium canteen and cup, and SS Bushbox Ultralight stove. Normally just throw a Trangia in this, but sometimes I end up using wood. Always keep this canteen filled with water and the pockets with at least a few tea bags and sugar. I have another kit I've made for cooking I want to break down in another post to follow that rides shotgun to this. There's something about using these at work that is relaxing in the middle of the day for me and kind of feels like work is a bit more of a different adventure each day I get a chance to use them. These Ti canteens aren't cheap, but in the long run they more than pay for themselves imo.
