25 anniversary wave cost ?
on: February 20, 2020, 08:55:40 PM
Hey guys , I was wondering if anyone would know what the ballpark figure price of a brand new 25 anniversary wave  would be ? I've looked and I cant find anything on what one would cost . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One was sold here for 80pounds 2015.  Not seeing a lot of these come up but I'd say thats likely a good starting point depending on the condition.

As with anything, it'll go for however much one is willing to pay.  Some collector who really want a 25th Anniversary Wave thats in top condition will pay up.

I've got one and its gorgeous.  I think I paid 70US for mine about 2014 or so.  Mine was not in perfect order.  I was used and was not a shiny as I know them to be.

Welcome to the forum.  Got a pic?

Thanks for the reply, I cant quite seem to load a pic . The wave is NIB . I had planned on using but the regular one is going strong.  I'm not planning on using it anytime soon or ever at this rate .  I'm kinda debating holding on to it but it depends on its value, I'll just have to see what the going rate for one is .

Easy question. In 2019 on ebay i saw around 15?of them.  Two was be still sealed in blister, however one had a mold and corrosion marks, inside the sealed blister. One with mold gone for about 120, good one was b sold together with 20th anniversary Wave, as one lot, also sealed, for 300$ total. Others, condition from bad to very good, but without packaging and often without sheaths, or with badly used ones, gone for a price tag 50$-120$.

I own two of them (both NIB complete with unused sheaths), but sadly I'm a collector and I'll only sell if it comes down to a "tool or a kidney" situation...

And even then I would probably need time to think it over  ::).

What I can do is post a pic of one of them:

With the only one kidney, anyone will survive. But no one will survive without precious collectible multitool. Fact!

Thanks guys  :salute:.

I got both of them for around 80€/piece, which is an absolute steal over here, where a regular Wave costs around 150€.

Nope, old pic (as the matter of fact, I already posted it in one of the calendar topics a couple of years ago, back when you posted your own pics instead of nominating someone else's pics  ;)).

If I find the time one of these weeks I'll try and take some new pics of this 25th anniversary Wave.

If you find time I am sure we can find someone to nominate it to the calendar thread
