February Donation Drive

We are halfway through the month and we are way short on donations, less than $75 so far. Some of the donations shown are actually from the last day of January.

I hate to have to post a thread every month asking for donations but the reality is that if we continue to have deficits the forum will start to suffer. If you love this forum and all it has to offer  including : The Sakwiki, The Multitool encyclopedia and general knowledge and companionship. These are all things that the forum offers for free but like the old saying goes " There is no Free Lunch "

It costs money to run the forum and we need donations to keep the lights on. Please consider giving a donation no matter how small , every bit helps    :tu:

For anyone wondering about the value MTo offers, let me just say that I am also a member of another great forum called All About Pocket Knives.  It's a great place, very warm and welcoming just like MTo, and full of super-knowledgeable members happy to share their arcane knowledge. 

BUT, if you want to send more than 100 PM's a year, or if you want to list knives for sale on the Sales Corner AT ALL, or if you want to link to an external site (like I sometimes do here with my own blog), you have to buy a membership.  The rates are cheap ($20, $30, or $40 a year depending on exactly what level of use you need), but the point is MTo does all this for free because people donate.

There is also Nick4's generous GAW going on this month.

It is often the same crew donating every month and it woud be great to see other prolific users of this site donating occasionally.

Maybe also think about how much you spend on your precious' every year and the value you associate with that
- and then what you spend on this site in a year and the value you associate with that
- To see if that encourages you to donate :D
